Delivery, Returns, Payment



SHIPPING

As a New Business we offer FREE shipping in the UK

2 -5 WORKING DAYS (after processing – Exemptions apply & are noted with the item) 

 

We use Royal Mail or a Courier service and will provide you with a tracking number if needed so you can follow your delivery.


PROCESSING

As most of our items are Bespoke and some pieces are one off’s or made to order, occasionally an order may take longer than 3-5 days. We will inform you of this when the order comes through and you can decide if you would like to continue. You then have the option to cancel your order if you do not wish to wait.
However, certain products will have relevant information about this on the site.

Being a Small Business, to begin with we will post twice a week.


SHIPPING OVERSEAS

We will use Royal Mail International Priority delivery

Overseas order delivery time is dependent on your location and local postal service.

Packages may be faced with delays beyond our control such as customs or postal delays. Please contact us if you have not received your order and we will endeavour to track the order progress via Royal Mail.


RETURNS

Firstly, we hope you will be happy and love your purchase, however if you wish to return anything here’s some help;


DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS

If the goods you receive have been damaged in transit or are faulty, please contact us by via email (hello@inspiredbyorkney.co.uk) within seven days of receipt. We will advise on how to proceed. Please have your order number ready and keep the packaging as you may be asked to return it. Please do not return anything before contacting us. We will provide our Return address where necessary


OTHER RETURNS

Please contact us by email (hello@inspiredbyorkney.co.uk) before returning anything for any other reason. We will need your order number. All requests for returns must reach us within 7 working days from the day you receive your order. Once agreed, return goods must reach us within a further 14 days. All items must be in the original sellable condition, and in the case of Accessories, unworn and with the original tags still attached.  These returns are at the sender's expense. 


EARRINGS

For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of earrings, unless the goods are faulty or damaged in transit.


RETURN OF GOODS / REPLACEMENT / REFUNDS

Please pack any returns with care ensuring the parcel is secure. Send the goods back to us by Royal Mail special delivery services if within the UK, or International Recorded if overseas as we will not be responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. Returns will be examined on receipt: if the fault lies with us we will replace the item or refund the cost, and Refund the postage only if the goods are faulty or its an error made by us.

We will provide a Return address

We cannot accept returns or provide refunds or replacements for any items that are specifically made to order for you, unless there is a manufacturing fault.

Due to hygiene reasons we are unable to accept return/exchanges for earrings unless there is a manufacturing fault.

Goods are not sent on approval: all orders accepted are taken as confirmed.

Refunds will be made by the original method of payment.

Any dispute regarding a purchase made from this site will be governed under Scottish law.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
